Town & Country worked with Seed Biotics to make the company's Caldwell-based facility more enery-efficent.
Lamps were replaced with highly-efficient T8 fluorescent technology, and occupancy sensors were installed thoughout the plant, reducing overall power consumption by over 145,000 kilowatt-hours per year, and saving the company over $11,000 per year.
The project also qualified Seed Biotics for a healthy incentive rebate check of $17, 473, as part of Idaho Power's Custom Efficiency Program.
